The latest word we have is that they are going to arrest Hanh. It's about time, but that there are others that should be going to jail too. Then there is the question of getting our property back. Stay tuned; we are nothing if not persistent.
The purpose of this site is to chronicle our 2007 trip to Vietnam. I welcome your comments and questions.
To my wife
“Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be, the last of life, for which the first was made. Our times are in his hand who saith, 'A whole I planned, youth shows but half; Trust God: See all, nor be afraid!'”
"No one could make a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little." Edmund Burke
Dragon Fruit (Hylocereus undatus) is grown extensively in Phan Thiet. In Vietnam it's called Thanh Long. It's also known as Pitaya. It is an attractive fruit with a bright red color and distinctive appearance. To eat the fruit serve chilled and cut in half. Scoop out the flesh and seeds much like a kiwi fruit.
